These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of EnlightPixel's website, products, and services. By purchasing, downloading, or using any EnlightPixel product, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use our products.

1. Definitions

• "EnlightPixel," "we," "us," "our" refers to the EnlightPixel software studio.
• "Product" refers to any software application or online service sold through enlightpixel.com.
• "User," "you," "your" refers to any individual who accesses or uses our website or products.
• "License" refers to the right granted to you upon purchase to use a Product.

2. License Grant

One-time purchases grant a non-exclusive, non-transferable, perpetual license to the purchased version on your personal devices. Subscription products grant access for the eligible subscription period. Offline products licensed through this website use permanent activation certificates and do not require recurring internet checks after activation. Refunding or revoking a license blocks further server access, activations and downloads; you must stop using and uninstall refunded software. An already activated offline copy cannot be remotely disabled. Online services require connectivity and current authorization. Each product page identifies its billing model; a subscription does not convert an existing one-time purchase into recurring billing.

What you may do:

• Install and use the product on any number of personal devices you own
• Use the product for both personal and commercial workflows
• Receive released updates within the purchased major version for one-time products, or updates included during eligible subscription access

What you may not do:

• Redistribute, sublicense, rent, lease, or sell the product to any third party
• Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to derive source code from the product
• Remove, alter, or obscure any proprietary notices, labels, or branding within the product
• Use the product in any manner that violates applicable laws or regulations

3. Account Terms

You will create a free account to manage your purchases, verify your license, access downloads, and view order history. Guest checkout is available for one-time purchases; subscriptions require a verified account. For a guest order, you will link the purchase to an account using the claim token shown after checkout, or by verifying the email address used at checkout.

SortSage predates this website and uses Gumroad for checkout, downloads and license activation. Keep your Gumroad receipt and license key; these purchases do not use this website’s claim-token or dashboard licensing flow. Contact support for help with a Gumroad purchase.

If you create an account:

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials
• You must provide accurate and current information during registration
• You must not share your account with others or allow unauthorized access
• You must notify us immediately if you suspect any unauthorized use of your account

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or engage in fraudulent activity.

4. Purchases & Pricing

Product pages show the price and whether payment is one-time, monthly or yearly. Subscriptions renew automatically at the disclosed interval until cancelled. Manage payment details and cancel future renewals through the billing link in your dashboard. After cancellation, access continues until the end of the paid period. Failed or overdue payments may suspend access; expired or paused subscriptions do not grant ongoing access.

Prices are in USD unless the provider's checkout displays another currency. Applicable taxes and the final total are shown before payment. Existing one-time purchase licenses remain one-time. Any changes to recurring charges are subject to the notices and consent required by applicable law and the provider's terms.

Payment processing is handled by our merchant of record. By completing a purchase, you agree to their terms of service as well.

5. Refund Policy

We offer a 14-day refund guarantee on all products. You may request a full refund within 14 days of purchase for any reason; providing a reason is optional. Please refer to our Refund Policy for the request process and timing.

6. Intellectual Property

All EnlightPixel products, including but not limited to their code, design, graphics, logos, and documentation, are the intellectual property of EnlightPixel and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

Your purchase grants you a license to use the product. It does not transfer ownership of the product or any intellectual property rights to you.

7. Product Updates

We may release updates to our products at our discretion. Updates within the same major version are provided free of charge. Major version upgrades may be offered at a discounted rate to existing customers.

We are under no obligation to provide updates, new features, or ongoing maintenance for any product.

8. Privacy

We respect your privacy and collect only the minimum data necessary to operate our services. Local file-processing features run on your device. License verification transmits the credentials needed to check access; any cloud-connected product features must disclose their data practices on the product page. These terms do not exclude mandatory consumer rights or remedies.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

EnlightPixel products are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

We do not warrant that our products will be error-free, uninterrupted, or compatible with all hardware and software configurations.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, EnlightPixel shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunities arising from your use of our products.

Our total liability for any claim arising from or related to these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific product giving rise to the claim.

11. Account Deletion

You may delete your account at any time from your dashboard settings. Account deletion is scheduled with a 30-day grace period during which you can cancel the deletion by logging back in and cancelling it in your account settings. After that period, support completes the deletion request. Transaction records required for payment reconciliation or legal obligations may be retained.

Deleting your account does not cancel provider subscriptions or automatically refund purchases. Cancel recurring billing before requesting deletion, or contact support for help. If you wish to request a refund, you must do so before initiating the deletion process.

12. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate your license and access to our products if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, you must cease all use of the product and destroy any copies in your possession.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting an updated version on our website. Your continued use of our products after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws. Any disputes arising from these Terms will be resolved through good-faith negotiation first, and if necessary, through the appropriate legal channels.
